Large Scale Solar Energy Opportunity - North Central Victoria

Gannawarra and Loddon Shires have combined with the City of Greater Bendigo to support large scale solar development in North Central Victoria.

The region has unlimited capability including a strong solar resource, large tracks of flat land, access to water and key electricity infrastructure.

Our region has a workforce of 50,000 and industry with a high degree of expertise. This is evidenced by its diversity, ingenuity in developing and applying new technologies, and exporting their value-added goods around the globe.

The Large Scale Solar Energy Opportunity booklet encourages companies investigating potential solar locations in Victoria to liaise directly with local government to assist with project development and facilitating local support.
